The first is a typed message, dated July 12, 1984, on the verso of a postcard poem by John Wieners, titled au rive and illustrated with a photograph of Wieners. The second item is a handwritten message, dated October 23, 1984, on the verso of a portrait postcard depicting Frank O'Hara by George Montgomery.
